On July 20, 2025, the 40th edition of the Transcivetta Karpos will take place, a mountain running race for pairs that unfolds beneath the majestic North-West face of Mount Civetta.
The route will follow the one established in recent editions: it will measure 23 km, starting from the locality of Listolade and concluding in Alleghe in the wonderful setting of the Piani di Pezzè.
Thanks to its decade-long tradition and the great spectacle of the course, the Transcivetta Karpos has become an important reference point for all athletes competing in mountain running.
The number of athletes participating is 2,000, who will run in pairs, warmly welcomed in Alleghe where a well-oiled organization ensures the successful outcome of the event.
Like every edition, a large team of staff and volunteers will wait for the athletes at the most scenic points of the course, also supported by some of the most renowned alpine huts such as the Rifugio Capanna Trieste, the Rifugio Vazzoler, the Rifugio Tissi, and the Rifugio Coldai.
Upon arrival, the welcome will be guaranteed by local organizations handling every necessary aspect, including typical gastronomy and musical entertainment.
