How many fragile lands are there today, in the world? Iran, Palestine, the Sahel, Ukraine and Russia, Myanmar, the Mediterranean, the Amazon... They are torn, wounded, reduced to shreds.
Can art stitch them back together, gather those scraps and recombine them into a new form, into a new balance that allows those lands to exist again, each with its own identity, back together but in a new relationship? The presentation of the exhibition of the eponymous works by Pierluigi Slis, which the workshop is inspired by, states: “Fragile lands are homes of Poetry.”
So we will also try to allow poetry to mend the world, with a collage of reworked watercolor and pastel papers. Artistic workshop for adults led by Elena Iodice.
