The Regional Day of the Venetian Paths offers the opportunity to walk along the Via dei Murales in Tarzo, a stretch of variant 4B of the Prosecco Path, amidst hilly landscapes and the artworks that characterize the route.
A route through the streets of the town of Fratta and Col Maggiore to discover traditions, the departure of emigrants, and local legends; themes that are told in the murals that decorate the facades of the houses and are the work of various Venetian artists.
The walk leads to the imposing Winged Lion of Martalar, a wooden artwork that becomes the concluding point of the itinerary. Standing over seven meters tall and ten meters long, it overlooks the shores of Lake Revine, transforming into a symbol that intertwines nature, history, and contemporary vision.
Made with over three thousand pieces of roots and trunks felled by the Vaia storm, along with vine cuttings from the vineyards on the hills, the Lion is born as a work of Land Art, capable of engaging with the surrounding environment and embodying the values of strength, resilience, and rebirth.
Duration of the walk: two hours.
The event is free with reservation by contacting the organization.
