Sunday, January 25, Conegliano will be the protagonist of an event of extraordinary symbolic value: the passage of the Olympic Flame for the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Games. A historic moment that unites sports, community, and Olympic values, involving citizens and visitors along the streets of the city center.
The Olympic caravan will depart at 11:45 AM from Via XXVIII Aprile. The torchbearers will pass through Via XXVIII Aprile, Viale Spellanzon, Corso Garibaldi, Corso Cavour, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Viale Mazzini, Via XI Febbraio, Via Cavallotti, and Via Lourdes. A great show and a special moment under the Alpini Staircase.
To ensure the safe conduct of the event, the streets affected by the route will be closed to traffic from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with a parking ban and removal of vehicles. On the same day, an ecological Sunday is scheduled.
As a corollary to the passage of the Olympic Flame, at 10:00 AM at the Convent of San Francesco, there will be the conference-event “The Flame Within”, with the participation of important figures from the sports world. Throughout the day, the IAT Office will also propose an activity dedicated to children, designed to introduce the city in a fun and engaging way.
