The Chestnut Festival returns to Tarzo on the weekends of October 2 to 4, 10 and 11, and 17 to 18, 2026, at the Pro Loco di Tarzo stand.
Now in its 54th edition, the chestnut festival is one of the richest events in terms of cultural, gastronomic, sports, and entertainment offerings.
On Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, the Piazza di Tarzo will be set up for the event "The Spirit of Ancient Flavors".
The festival revolves around the promotion of the chestnuts "I marroni" provided by local producers and cooked using a giant iron. During the autumn period, dishes based on chestnuts can be tasted at local restaurants.
