Every year, with the arrival of autumn, Pedavena comes alive to celebrate the chestnut, the undisputed queen of the season.
The Chestnut Festival is a moment of gathering, a rediscovery of peasant roots, and a way to enhance the territory. It is not just a feast of taste, but also an opportunity to support local economies and promote rural culture. Participating in a chestnut festival means experiencing a warm and genuine atmosphere, filled with real flavors, sincere smiles, and a strong sense of community.
The heart of the festival is the roasted chestnuts and the wide market exhibition of local agri-food and artisanal products, with food stands and markets stretching along the avenue of the Birreria Pedavena to the center of the village.
Every Sunday in October, a different event will characterize the festival with attractions such as the Gran Prix Sportful (a skiroll race), cycling gatherings like the Gravel, accompanied by musical moments and activities for children, such as the "Games of the Past."
Each year, Pedavena hosts a special day featuring the participation of a guest of honor, whose name will be revealed shortly.
A highlight is the celebration of the Holy Mass held in the village square.
Pedavena... not just the town of Beer!
