The Michieletto collection, located at 52 Caprera Street, Vittorio Veneto, presents a series of projects by the artist, recently completed at the newly inaugurated venue. In the four exhibition rooms, the author intends to share some themes of great current relevance, such as the relationship between pandemics and the technological revolution that has involved humanity in recent years. The two central works of the exhibition highlight, through self-representation, how it is possible and accessible to all, to transform truth into lie.
On one side, Enrico Michieletto: "the plague", is shown struck by an apparent virus, like the plague itself, while in the two self-portraits: "I AI", he transforms his male nature into female, playing with the ambiguity of the Italian language, superimposing the word AI (artificial intelligence) with AI (the being woman).
"When I am male I am "I". When I am female I am "AI".
In the spaces dedicated to painting, the artist presents a series of works belonging to the cycle: "Japanese", as well as "ROSTfrei", recently exhibited at nurraumproject.
