LABORATORY “CICALECICALE”
“Cicalecicale” is a laboratory born from the collaboration between Chiara Cecconello and LAVA – laboratories of performative practices, a project curated by Sara Zannoni and Zoe Francia Lamattina.
This is a laboratory of corporeal and sound practices conducted by Chiara Cecconello and open to all people who wish to learn and experiment with their voice and sounds.
The exercises and activities proposed will lead to questions such as: where does my voice come from today? What spaces does it occupy-open? How does it move in the body and in space? What other voices does it touch, listen to, or not listen to? These questions will serve as the horizon to activate vocal games, listening practices, improvisations, invented languages, and shared songs in search of individual and collective bodily-hearing. Different timbres with which each voice learns to move will be explored, to then open possible collective vocal spaces.
