On Tuesday, June 16 at 8.30 p.m., the Arenile di Piazza Brescia will host Chiara Francini.
Actress, writer, and one of the most original voices in the contemporary cultural scene, Chiara Francini brings to the festival a reflection on roots, identity, and the silent strength of memory. Through personal and collective storytelling, she weaves together irony and depth, giving voice to stories that traverse generations and question the present.
In the novel The Oaks Don’t Bear Lemons, the author delves into family memory and the grand Italian history, constructing an intense fresco in which resilience manifests in everyday gestures and dignity becomes a form of resistance.
In dialogue with the sea and the audience, her narrative transforms into an invitation to recognize one's roots in order to face change. Because, like water, memory too returns, transforms, and continues to show us the way.
Admission is free for this evening.
No seating is provided, we recommend bringing a blanket to sit on the beach.
In case of bad weather, the event will be moved to the Teatro Vivaldi
