Often on Sundays in summer I like to get up early in the morning and repeat a tradition that passed down to me grandma Luigina.
A walk from our house in Jesolo -the old one, far from the crowds of tourists! - to the port of Cavallino to buy fresh fish directly from the fishing boats and to collect seasonal fruits for the tart. During the walk at dawn I take the time to observe the animals of the lagoon, to enjoy the sun still not too hot and to fill the basket of blackberries and raspberries.
Arrived at the port I buy fish directly from the fishing boats and then I return home to prepare lunch.
