The Caorle Independent Film Festival (CIFF), now in its ninth edition, is a cultural event held annually in the beautiful city of Caorle, the little Venice.
The Festival was born from the initiative of the Caorle Film Association with the goal of creating an international event dedicated to filmmakers from all around the world and to highlight that niche of artists who create and produce their works without the assistance of a major production house: independent cinema.
The Festival stands out for its welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere, designed to offer a unique experience for both participants and visitors.
The 75 works selected, divided among feature films, short films, documentaries, web series, pilot episodes, and animated films will be screened in the theaters of the Centro Culturale Andrea Bafile, in the historic center of Caorle, specially transformed into screening rooms.
One of the fundamental aspects of the event is its cultural dimension, which allows exploration and immersion in a wide range of realities told through cinematic language. Thanks to the selection of works from around the world, the audience has the opportunity to discover not only stories and traditions from different countries but also the talent and creativity of the authors who contribute to the artistic richness of the event.
Over the years, the Festival has established itself as a place of meeting and cultural exchange, as well as representing a platform where narratives, visions, and artistic sensitivities from different contexts are brought to light. In addition to fiction, the festival pays particular attention to issues of great social relevance, such as identity and gender equality, bullying, degenerative diseases, the fight against all forms of discrimination and racial hatred, as well as environmental protection and historical memory.
The CIFF is structured to always prioritize all participants in a festival atmosphere with an international flavor. Even the visitors themselves, besides being able to attend all screenings free of charge, become an integral part of the festival by actively participating in the collateral activities.

THE EVENTS
At the Civic Center:
• September 16, 8:45 p.m. – Book presentation on Akira Kurosawa.
• September 17, 8:45 p.m. – Meeting with costume designer Marzia Paparini.
• September 18, 11:00 a.m. – Q&A with the CIFF26 Jury.
• September 18, 8:45 p.m. – Screening of “All the Things That Remain” and meeting with Cinzia Lo Fazio.
• September 19, 3:00 p.m. – Free set design masterclass “Drawing the Imaginary”, curated by Cinzia Lo Fazio.
The exhibition “Cinzia Lo Fazio: The Strength of Dreams”, featuring photos and original sketches, will also be on display at the Civic Center.

The concluding day will see authors and guests on the red carpet in Piazza Vescovado.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Giovanni XXIII Hall of the Santo Stefano parish.
