On April 6, 2026, at the Vivaldi Theatre in Viale del Bersagliere 1, the 2026 Regional Blitz Chess Championship will take place. This tournament is valid for FIDE Blitz Elo rating changes.
The first round is scheduled for 2:00 PM: player accreditation will close at 1:30 PM.
The championship is open to all members of a club in Veneto; a regular membership card is sufficient for participation. Foreign players without a FIN (FIDE Identity Number) must request it from their Federation before registering.
The championship will be played in 11 (eleven) rounds, with pairings according to the Swiss system and a time control of 3’ + 2’’ bonus starting from the first move.
Prize pool of €500.00.
