Talk with Daniele Novara on how to manage conflicts without shouting: practical educational tools for parents, teachers, and educators
It has never been easy to be heard by children, even more so during this time when all relational difficulties are exacerbated.
Often, the parent who wants to be gentle, accommodating, and available ends up in the swamp of shouting and reprimands. When the child does not behave according to expectations, a conflict arises that is almost always managed with shouting. It becomes automatic. But this educational style harms both the children and the parents. When tension with children rises, it becomes important to know the right move rather than giving in to anger and reprimands. Knowing how to manage conflicts with children is not only necessary but in this emergency, it becomes indispensable.
