That life is a journey is one of the most worn clichés, and therefore undeniably true, at least until you notice the frayed edges.
If life is a journey, it certainly does not belong to the category of those that go from A to B, straight to the destination: rather, it's one of those adventures where you have to dodge strikes and delays, turn back after a turn that leads to a dead end, stop because you're stranded where you least expect it.
To exist is a complex matter; very often the accounts do not add up, and if you change the order of the factors, the result changes, indeed. Even if we delude ourselves into believing we have a single voice, we contain multitudes. Nothing prevents us from cradling the reassurance of having chosen the best itinerary, exorcising every day the regret of having taken the wrong path; but leaving a window open, imagining another possible path, is a great exercise in freedom.
Because to explore all the shades with which we can paint ourselves, one life is not enough.
We will be warmly welcomed by Chiara Alpago Novello at 9:30 for breakfast with coffee, tea, all the good things needed to start the day well: cookies, yogurt and cheeses, fruit jams, and whatever the awakening and the season inspire, all from 0 km. At 12:30 light lunch, greetings, and toasts. In between, chatter, questions, beautiful ideas. As much as you want.
