A journey of ten evenings at the Ridotto of the Da Ponte Theatre. An intimate, welcoming place where words take shape and become a shared experience.
The Wednesday Class returns, the series of meetings curated by Professor Fabio Girardello, with readings by the actors and actresses of the Da Ponte Theatre Academy.
This year’s theme is the journey – real, symbolic, dreamlike – as it has been told through the centuries by great authors of literature and philosophy. A path that will lead us through otherworldly realms, imagined lands, rooms full of wonders, and routes of personal growth. Because reading is always setting sail, and every story is a paper ship.
The first evening will be dedicated to: Traveling in the World of the Dead - Homer, Plato, Virgil, Lucian. Each appointment is a meeting between words and thought, between narration and reflection. An invitation to pause, to listen, to let oneself be carried away.
