On Wednesday, January 27 at 9:00 p.m., the tribute concert "Velvet Dress - U2 Tribute Band" will take place at the Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati.
The Velvet Dress are one of the most important and long-standing U2 tribute bands in Italy and Europe. Born in 2000 from the passion of a group of musicians for the legendary Irish band, in over twenty years of activity they have collected more than a thousand live concerts in the most prestigious venues, becoming a reference point for all fans of Bono and companions. With an authentic and overwhelming show, the band brings back the passion, energy, and emotional intensity of the U2, on a journey through the greatest hits of their history, from With or Without You to One, from Where the Streets Have No Name to Beautiful Day.
What makes their story even more special is a moment that has become legendary: in 2015, during the Innocence + Experience Tour in Turin, frontman Leonardo Pettenò took the stage to duet with Bono in Desire, the only singer of a European tribute band to have experienced such an event. Thanks to an engaging stage presence and extremely faithful interpretations, the Velvet Dress move fans of all generations, providing truly goosebump-worthy moments.
