The bike relay is an event promoted by the BIM Piave Consortium, the leading organization of the memorandum of understanding signed with the Veneto Region for the organization, promotion, and development of the project called “Green Tour Verde in Movimento”, together with the other signatories of the Protocol: ULSS1 Dolomiti, the 7 municipalities involved in the route (Belluno, Borgo Val Belluna, Cesiomaggiore, Feltre, Limana Santa Giustina, Sedico) and the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park with the aim of enhancing the Anello della Val Belluna.
The signatories of the mentioned protocol consider the objectives of the strategic project “Green Tour Verde in Movimento” a contribution to the promotion and enhancement of the territory affected by the passage of the Anello della Val Belluna, to raising awareness among local communities and to greater safeguarding of the environment and land protection, as well as to the promotion of the health and psycho-physical well-being of citizens and the community.
The loop will be covered in two modes:
- Group A - complete route for cycling tourists and enthusiasts - Departure at 8:15 a.m.
- Group B - Bike relay with the boys and girls from the schools - Departure at 8:30 a.m.
Meeting at 8:00 a.m. in Belluno at Parco Città di Bologna and in Feltre at Campus Tina Merlin
