On Monday, November 30 at 9:00 p.m., there will be "Ubaldo Pantani in "Inimitabile"" at the Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati.
“What a character!” How many times do we say this when we encounter someone who seems extraordinary? We repeat it among friends, share it at home, and discuss it at work: “I was having an aperitif and there was a bartender... you had to see what a character!”. In Inimitabile, Ubaldo Pantani, a star of television comedy, brings to the stage his world of characters: from the imitated celebrities – Lapo Elkann and all the others – to ordinary people, those met in the most diverse contexts, from the local gas station attendant to the municipal clerk, to the estimator. Real figures who, despite their daily lives, reveal a hilarious and unpredictable humanity, often becoming a source of inspiration for fictional characters.
An hour and a half of laughter and tragicomic existential dilemmas, where the audience finds themselves recognizing quirks, habits, and small obsessions that are part of our daily lives. Because, after all, we laugh at others without realizing that, from another perspective, we could be the true characters. And in this game of masks, the ridiculousness we perceive in others reflects back on us, as the line between imitating and being imitated becomes razor-thin, just like that between normality and absurdity.
