On Monday, January 12 at 18:00, at Palazzo Crepadona, the presentation of the AIDP and PNDB project "I guide you - towards a park accessible to everyone" will take place.
This project was conceived by the Belluno section of AIPD (Italian Association of People with Down Syndrome) in collaboration with the National Park of the Belluno Dolomites, as part of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism. After mapping accessible routes (described in a printed guide in Italian and English) in the area, AIPD Belluno has hosted for the last four years young people with Down syndrome from all over Italy, guiding them in the discovery of the Belluno Dolomites.
What is new? It is the transition from merely adapting existing tourism proposals for people with intellectual disabilities to their direct involvement in the organization and realization of tourism activities: no longer simple users, but active protagonists.
