In the Journey Stage of the Paralympic Flame of the 2026 Winter Games in Milan-Cortina leading to Venice, Wednesday, March 4, the flame will pass through Belluno.
The event is expected to take place in the streets of the city center from around 11:10 AM to 12:10 PM.
The torchbearers will start from Via Feltre, then Via Caffi, Via Tasso and Via Tissi. From there, they will continue on Via Gabelli, then head back towards the center to Piazza Santo Stefano. Then Via Roma, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele with arrival at Piazza dei Martiri in front of Porta Dante.
The itinerary will conclude on March 6, 2026 at the Arena di Verona, the day of the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympics, which will take place from March 6 to March 15.
Symbol of peace, competition but also of hope, the flame's fire, coming to life, renews the bond between cultures, generations, and shared ideals, reminding the world with a ritual gesture of the power of sport as a universal bridge to unite people, today as in the times of Ancient Greece.
