In the 49th Stage of the Journey of the Olympic Flame for the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Games, Sunday, January 25, the final destination will be the city of Belluno.
In the morning, the Torch's itinerary will start from Pordenone at 09:15, continuing towards Conegliano, Vittorio Veneto, and Valdobbiadene around 15:30. From 16:30, it will enter the Province of Belluno starting from Feltre, then Trichiana at 18:15, and will conclude the stage in Piazza dei Martiri in Belluno at 19:30.
The route in the Feltre area will see the start near the railway station, passing through the picturesque Piazza Maggiore where from 15:00 there will be organized reception with musical entertainment and celebration.
The itinerary, which began in Greece on Thursday, December 4, 2025, and reached Rome two days later, will conclude on February 6, 2026, at the San Siro Olympic Stadium in Milan, the day of the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics, after having touched all 110 Italian provinces, in a long and exciting journey involving a large group of 10,001 torchbearers, including Olympic and Paralympic athletes, as well as well-known faces from the entertainment world.
A symbol of peace, competition, but also of hope, the fire of the Olympic Flame, once ignited, renews the bond between cultures, generations, and shared ideals, reminding the world with a ritual gesture of the power of sport as a universal bridge to unite peoples, today as in ancient Greece.
