Caorle is preparing to host its first edition of TEDx, the event that brings the format of the famous conferences dedicated to "ideas worth spreading" to the world.
For those who may not know TED (Technology Entertainment Design), it is a non-profit organization that started in California in 1984. Each year, it organizes multidisciplinary conferences aimed at bringing together the brightest minds and the most innovative ideas from around the globe in one place. Initially focused on technology, entertainment, and design, it has since expanded its domain to include the fields of science, culture, business, and much more.
TEDxCaorle, organized by a group of motivated and passionate volunteers coordinated by Milena Pulvirenti, the licensee of TEDxCaorle, is a local event inspired by TED principles, designed to bring to Caorle the energy and value of the renowned international conferences. The goal is to provide an engaging and inspiring experience, thanks to speakers who share ideas capable of generating connections, reflections, and change.
Participating in TEDxCaorle means taking home new questions, new perspectives, ideas to grow: a fresh outlook and renewed energy. It is an opportunity for those who love Caorle to come together for a moment of listening and inspiration, to discover new perspectives on who we are and who we can be.
For the community, TEDx can represent an opportunity to pause and reflect, to find connections between the past and the future, between tradition and innovation, between local identity and global vision. Such an event can strengthen the sense of belonging, ignite the desire for growth, and contribute to enhancing the territory also from a cultural and human perspective; it can foster the collaborative spirit that has always characterized our city.
The first edition of TEDxCaorle will have the theme of “Gratitude”, which will be approached from different perspectives, thanks to the presence of speakers who will guide participants on a journey to discover the deep meaning of this concept to be conveyed in life experiences, in relationships, as a fundamental element of personal well-being and in the development of new technologies.
The official website of TEDxCaorle is online (www.tedxcaorle.com) and the social channels are open, where you can find all the information about the event on December 13 and stay updated on the details of the program as they become available.
