Guided tour led by Prof. Massimo Cettolin at the exhibition “Sport Emotion” organized by the Municipal Administration on the occasion of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, to celebrate the history of the Winter Olympic Games, whose first edition was held in Chamonix 102 years ago.
An opportunity to relive the great emotions that athletes of yesterday and today have made and still make us experience in the hope that Olympic values such as friendship, respect, and solidarity can contribute to a culture of peace.
The exhibition is the result of a historical reconstruction work through magazines, albums, and old newspapers from the private collection of Prof. Massimo Cettolin, as well as original sports equipment on loan from the Museum of Boots and Sports Footwear in Montebelluna, managed by the Sportsystem Foundation. An immersion into the history of sports over the last hundred years enriched by a photographic journey curated by Fabio Cavessago with shots from the Olympic Museum in Lausanne.
