On the occasion of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, the Municipal Administration proposes an exhibition titled “Sport Emotion” to celebrate the history of the Winter Olympic Games, the first edition of which was held in Chamonix 102 years ago.
An opportunity to relive the great emotions that athletes of yesterday and today have brought and continue to bring us, in the hope that the Olympic values of friendship, respect, and solidarity can contribute to a culture of peace.
The exhibition is the result of historical reconstruction work through magazines, albums, and newspapers from times gone by, coming from the private collection of Prof. Massimo Cettolin, as well as original sports equipment on loan from the Shoe and Sports Footwear Museum of Montebelluna, managed by the Sportsystem Foundation. An immersion into the history of sports over the last hundred years, enriched by a photographic journey curated by Fabio Cavessago, featuring shots from the Olympic Museum in Lausanne.
The exhibition is open for visitation: Saturday and Sunday 10:00-13:00/16:00-19:00
The ticket prices are:
