The representation, curated by the Italian Army, is inspired by the life of Giani and Carlo Stuparich, Triestine writers, young intellectuals, and patriots, both decorated with the Gold Medal for Military Valor. Through an original dramaturgy based on their writings and correspondence, the show offers a profound reflection on the great conflicts of the twentieth century, experienced through the eyes of two brothers united by an unbreakable bond. The show is performed by the theater group Il Canovaccio, directed by Alice Pagotto. Alongside the actors, the Wind Orchestra of the Northern Territorial Command of the Army will perform, consisting of 40 musicians from the Fanfare of the “Pozzuolo del Friuli” Cavalry Brigade, the Band of the “Folgore” Paratroopers Brigade, and the Fanfare of the 11th Bersaglieri Regiment.
