Meditations, organistic tempests
The 37th International Organ Music Festival returns to the Cathedral of Serravalle.
In the fourth concert appointment, the organist Helene Von Rechenberg will perform a program designed as a soundtrack commenting on the life of Lorenzo Da Ponte during his years in Vittorio Veneto and Vienna, featuring works by Italian and Viennese composers of the eighteenth century. The sound effects of sudden thunderstorms present in a piece by Justin Heinrich Knecht will seem to evoke the unexpected vicissitudes of Abbot Da Ponte.
