On Tuesday, November 11 at 11.30 a.m., at the Municipal Auditorium, the San Martino Award will be presented, established in 1972, to recognize and give merit to those who have distinguished themselves with concrete works and actions in the fields of science, literature, arts, music, production activities, work, education, sports, the environment, or even through initiatives of a social, assistance, and philanthropic nature.
Since 2021, the Award can be granted to an adult individual or to an Association/Entity of the Third Sector. The conference of group leaders has unanimously awarded the prize for 2026 to the Recreational Circle of the Firefighters of Belluno, a social promotion association operating throughout the Belluno province.
The activities of the Circle stand out, for over 20 years, for numerous concrete actions in social, assistance, and philanthropic fields, with a continuous presence over time, guaranteeing reliability. Many interventions have been made for kindergartens, facilities for the elderly, hospital wards, pediatrics primarily, and for emergency situations. Wherever a need arises, the Recreational Circle of the Firefighters arrives with its generosity.
