CaorlEducAzione Festival 2026
The talk by Franco Nembrini offers everyone the fruit of a long intuition gained from rereading the puppet and his adventures.
More than forty years ago, Cardinal Biffì launched the provocative hypothesis that The Adventures of Pinocchio dealt, under the guise of a fairy tale, with the universal problems of the human condition: the origin of man, his destiny, the drama of a freedom always in struggle between the desire to return to the arms of a father and the temptation of an illusory, cheap satisfaction. As a young teacher, Franco Nembrini took this intuition seriously and has tested it for forty years, first at school and then in a thousand occasions in theaters, squares, and conference halls throughout Italy and beyond. Nembrini now offers everyone the fruit of this long friendship with the puppet and his adventures: a chapter-by-chapter re-reading of Collodi's text, which helps to discover in a simple and direct way that the adventures of Pinocchio are our own stories and can help us understand and confront a bit more the drama of life.Book your place on EVENTBRITE.
