It will be an evening all about cycling scheduled for Tuesday, July 29, at 8:45 PM at the Castle of Zumelle.
The Veses Cultural Association APS will present its new editorial work: “Cycling in Valbelluna,” the third volume of a series that tells the story of the Belluno territory through active, genuine experiences deeply connected to the rhythm of nature.
After exploring walking and eating in the valley, it is now time for cycling to take center stage: a daily and sustainable act that becomes a key to uncovering paths, landscapes, and stories.
The result of a year of collective work, the book was created thanks to the collaboration with FIAB (Italian Federation for Environment and Bicycles) and the commitment of 62 volunteers.
In over 1200 hours, the members of Veses have traced, tested, and documented 40 cycling tourism routes, totaling 1600 kilometers. The result is a practical and engaging guide, structured in 204 color pages, designed for cyclists of all levels: from families to experienced cycle tourists, including weekend enthusiasts. The itineraries range from the tranquil shores of Lake Santa Croce to the vibrancy of the center of Belluno, passing through historic towns like Mel, the gentle undulations of the foothills, the hills of Feltre and Pedavena, all the way to the more demanding trails that reach the ridges of Mount Grappa.
