Come back Beyond the Peaks, from January 9 to 18, 2026. The theme of the 29th edition is "Snow?". A rich program of events awaits you!
On Tuesday, January 13, at 6:00 PM, at Palazzo Crepadona, the book presentation of S. Zambello and S. Zanella "Nevario - The Forms of Snow" will take place.
Powdery and soft, or wet and heavy: snow tells its stories through the microstructure and density of its flakes. These are the essential factors for the formation of the snow cover, the natural phenomenon capable of hiding and revealing, covering and transforming a landscape until it becomes a work of art.
From Calder to Andersen, from Turner to Herdeg, including Debussy, The Snowman, and much more: to glide lightly in the perfect balance of science and poetry, between the insubstantial lightness of the flakes, the force of avalanches and storms, and the absolute stillness of what the snow cover makes eternal.
Created in collaboration with the Arabba Avalanche Center.
Introduced by Valeria Benni.
