November 4 marks the Day of National Unity and the Feast of the Armed Forces of the Italian Republic.
The Municipal Administration of Caorle, to remember those who fell for the independence, unity, and freedom of Italy and the importance of defending peace, has organized a series of celebrations for Sunday, November 8.
The day will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Pertini Center with an initial gathering and a refreshment provided by the Combatants' Association. Subsequently, at 10:30 a.m., citizens and authorities will gather in Piazza Matteotti to kick off the parade that will lead participants to Piazza Pio X, where at 10:45 a.m. the flag-raising ceremony will take place.
The morning will continue with a moment of spiritual reflection at 11:00 a.m., with the celebration of the Holy Mass inside the Cathedral of Caorle. At the conclusion of the program, at 12:00 p.m., there will be a solemn ceremony for the laying of the laurel wreath at the Monument in Via delle Cape.
The celebrations will be accompanied by the "Marafa Marafon" Musical Band of Caorle.
