You can look forward to 8 different routes to discover Monte Avena with roads free from cars and refreshment points with entertainment to recharge your energy and have fun with others. The event is not competitive: no timers, just the pleasure of cycling.
You can use any type of bicycle (MTB, road, e-bike, gravel).
There are two starting points: the historic Brewery Pedavena, with over 100 years of history, and the MVC Store in the area of Fonzaso, nestled at the foot of Monte Avena and the Grappa massif.
You will discover the Croce d'Aune Pass, which, aside from being famous for the beauty of the places it crosses, is known for an episode of the Giro d'Italia that changed the history of cycling.
It is right here that in 1924, a young Tullio Campagnolo, founder of the famous company that produces bicycle components, turns a misfortune into a spark of genius when, due to his frozen hands, he is unable to disassemble and reassemble the wheel. From this moment, the spark ignites that will lead to the invention of the quick-release gear in the following years.
