The Wednesday Class meetings propose, for the 2026-27 season, ten conversations on Classical Myth.
In Greek and Roman culture, the mythological discourse unfolds in an intricate series of narratives, of cycles that often intersect. From a central theme, they develop into incessant “prequels” and “sequels.” We could compare it to an immense network made up of narrative segments, which intertwine with one another in a non-linear and often contradictory manner. Mythical tales have been passed down for centuries in oral form, in an endless series of variations. In written form, they are organized starting from the works of Homer and Hesiod.
