XIV edition of the conference cycle Mysticism, Music, and Medicine
In the shape of the arch, the breath of humanity is depicted, between heaven and earth.
Shared knowledge, rediscovered legacies, cross-sectional intersections of sensitivities, experiences, and wisdom. The arch is the ideal figure of a rooted path that manifests in the upward thrust, an inspiring source of authentic dialogue, where the parts support each other for a common good that unites without sacrificing, fraternizes without dominating, and fosters personal growth without confining. By looking towards the most distant past – traditions, indeed – one can grasp its generosity: a legacy that, if believed in, can be revisited also in light of the specificities and needs of this time, which can relive it as a pulsating heritage. Not only that; a legacy that can reveal itself in its perhaps underground but real motion of transmission, designing bridges, resonances, connections, unveiling the desire for inner exploration, depth in listening and observing. In the possible connections and arch-shaped paths between places, epochs, and symbols, there lies the restoration of the image of the human being in unity with itself and with the Divine, in harmony between oneself and the created world.
