On Sunday April 25 at 9:00 p.m. the musical "Michelangelo Da Caravaggio - A Rebel Rock Musical" will take place at the Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati.
Accompanied by a live progressive rock soundtrack and a cast of 12 performers, Caravaggio, A Rebel Rock Musical recounts the turbulent and revolutionary life of Michelangelo Merisi in 17th century Rome. The show portrays the painter's challenge to the power of the time through raw and unhypocritical art, capable of depicting the divine in the faces of the last and the destitute. Amid intrigues, passions, and an unexpected ending, the musical celebrates the invaluable legacy of the artist and his visceral search for light against all adversity.
