Casera Medassa: 50 years of friendship in the mountains
Friday, June 20, 8:30 PM – Parish hall of Cavarzano
A special evening to celebrate fifty years of an endeavor that has marked the history of the Belluno mountains: the reconstruction of Casera Medassa. On Friday, June 20, at the auditorium of the parish in Cavarzano, this extraordinary experience of commitment, friendship, and alpine passion will be recalled.
During the meeting, testimonies and a docufilm created by Stefano Reolon will be shown, giving voice to those who experienced the intense moments of the reconstruction first-hand. The event will also be an opportunity to pay tribute to the three friends who perished in the mountains – Piero Pavei, Paolo Fistarol “Poldo”, and Renzo Dal Mas “Pece” – to whom Casera Medassa is now dedicated.
Participants will include:
-
Gabriele Arrigoni, president of CAI Belluno at the time of the endeavor
-
Paolo Barp, current president of CAI Belluno, who will present a commemorative sticker for the 50th anniversary
The evening will conclude with a performance by the CAI Chorus of Belluno, directed by maestro Elisa Isotton.
An event to remember, share, and renew the profound bond between people and the mountains.
