The Ducati Belluno Historic Register, in collaboration with ASI – Italian Historical Automotive Club, Vintage Motor Club and Gentleman Drivers Club Belluno, organizes a meeting dedicated to the history of the legendary Lancia competition cars developed at Abarth between 1989 and 1992. The event is on Friday, July 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the Muccin Hall of the Giovanni XXIII Center in Belluno, with free entry.
The guest of the evening will be Sergio Limone, an engineer and protagonist of one of the most successful seasons in Italian motorsport. Having joined Abarth in 1972, Limone contributed to the development of legendary cars such as the Lancia Rally 037, the Lancia Delta S4, and the Lancia Delta Group A, which won six consecutive World Rally Championships. He later led important sports projects at Alfa Romeo, achieving success in the DTM and Supertouring.
Through stories, images, and anecdotes, the audience will relive the behind-the-scenes of the design of these extraordinary automobiles, discovering the technical innovations and challenges that marked an unparalleled era of competitions.
