Return to Beyond the Peaks, from January 9 to 18, 2026. The theme of the 29th edition is "Snow?". A rich program of events awaits you!
On Sunday, January 18 at 12:00 PM, at Palazzo Crepadona, there will be a 60-minute talk with Altramontagna titled "Is green snow the future of skiing?"
The longest synthetic ski slope in Italy is in Nevegal. An opportunity to delve into the trend that is spreading among the Alps, Apennines (...and coastlines!), to create ski trails made of synthetic material, in order to free itself from the impacts that rising temperatures have on this economic sector. Do such initiatives represent the future of mountain areas?
In conversation: Diego Cason (sociologist), Paolo Luciani (tourism assessor for the Municipality of Belluno), Riccardo Ravagnan (Dolomiti Ski Line Nevegal), Mauro Varotto (full professor of Geography at the University of Padua), Sandy Fiabane (Il Dolomiti), and Pietro Lacasella (L’Altramontagna).
