
On the occasion of the centenary of the political-administrative emancipation of Criciúma, a Brazilian city twinned with Vittorio Veneto, the conference "Attracted and Repelled. Immigrants in Veneto between Rooting and Inequalities" is being held at Palafenderl, featuring sociologist Fabio Perocco (Ca’ Foscari University of Venice).
In the evening, at 8:30 PM, there will be a presentation by Giorgia Miazzo and Gianluca Parise from the Center for Studies on Major Migrations and a screening of excerpts from the documentary “Tales of Two Worlds. One-Way Journey to Mérica,” in collaboration with the Trevisani nel Mondo Association.
