During World War II, the Municipality of Vittorio Veneto, like many of the surrounding municipalities, was affected during those years by heavy Nazi-fascist raids, and the contribution of the Resistance was fundamental to the liberation of our territories.
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, the Municipal Administration has expressed the desire, in collaboration with the Municipality of Pieve del Grappa, to organize a relay race that, passing through various municipalities, can retrace the historical events that occurred and also enhance the artistic heritage of the monuments by Augusto Murer that both Vittorio Veneto and Pieve del Grappa are honored to host.
The relay will start from Cima Grappa on September 21 and arrive in Vittorio Veneto on September 27.
