After a few years of exhibiting pause, the artist Carlo Roni returns to present his works to the public with a solo exhibition that will take place in his hometown, Santa Giustina. The exhibition represents the first official event related to the Mostra Mercato 2025.
The inauguration will take place on Thursday, September 25 at 6:00 PM at the multifunctional hall of the Cultural Center, located at via Cal de Formiga 31, with a presentation by Dr. Cristina Pierotti.
The exhibition, sponsored by the Municipality of Santa Giustina and the Department of Culture, is titled “HAYALLER”, a Turkish word that means "dreams." An evocative title, inspired by a musical piece from a Turkish band particularly dear to the artist, whose notes will accompany the exhibition path. The music, in fact, is the same that the author usually listens to during the creative process.
On display are 24+1 works, created in the last five years, using oil on canvas technique, in sizes 50x70 and 60x80. The paintings present themselves as an inner journey, deeply personal, where abstraction merges with figurative elements and recurring dreamlike symbols. The artist's pictorial language moves between metaphysics and surrealism, giving life to works that configure as “daydreams”: sometimes whispered, other times shouted, but always authentically experienced.
The exhibition will remain open until October 10. The artist will be present in the hall every Saturday and Sunday, to meet the public and discuss the works.
