Eighty years after the referendum of June 2, 1946, the city is preparing to commemorate one of the most decisive passages in Italian history with a conference at the Battle Museum that will continue the following day in Treviso, at the Santa Caterina Museum.
At Vittorio Veneto, the following will participate in the conference: Professors Sandro De Nardi and Maurizio Malo from the University of Padua, scholar Graziella Falconi from the Nilde Iotti Foundation, Enrico Padoan from the University of Tuscia and Culture Councillor of Vittorio Veneto, and Paolo Massa, superintendent of the Archive of the Chamber of Deputies.
Alongside the scientific initiatives, there will also be an exhibition titled “The Republic Turns Eighty,” which will be inaugurated on Sunday, May 17 at 5:30 p.m. in the church of San Paoletto in Vittorio Veneto.
