From Saturday, November 1 to Sunday, November 16, an exhibition of installations by Giorgio Vazza will take place with the dominant theme "The Eyes and the Gaze Beyond Barriers in Search of New Perspectives," at the Courtyard of the Ex Antiche Scuderie on Via XXX Aprile.
"Meja - Border"
The work originated in 1994 for Topolò, a small mountain village between Italy and Slovenia. At that time, the border was a strong presence from a social and cultural perspective. The screen, where the canvas that usually hides is replaced by eyes that can finally see, is an invitation to remove barriers, to see beyond, beyond.
"The Other Gaze"
The work dating back to 2010 focuses on the ability to observe and analyze, on knowing how to see, on the importance of maintaining a balance between different points of view, and on the ever-increasing need to have another gaze.
