On Saturday, November 14 at 8:30 p.m., there will be "Ghost - The Musical", at the Teatro Comunale Dino Buzzati.
GHOST the Musical, produced by UVM show&musical under official license from Theatrical Rights Worldwide, presents a faithful theatrical adaptation of the cult film from 1990, winner of two Academy Awards. The script and libretto are written by the film's original screenwriter, Bruce Joel Rubin, while the original music and lyrics are by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics and Glen Ballard. The direction is by Michele William Barbato. The story follows Sam and Molly, a couple whose bond remains unbroken even in the face of death: left on Earth as a ghost, Sam tries to protect his beloved and uncover the truth about his murder, with the help of medium Oda Mae Brown, amidst deception, greed, and plot twists.
On stage, a company of young Italian talents brings new life to unforgettable characters, in a musical that weaves together comedy, suspense, and profound emotion. The soundtrack blends pop-rock atmospheres with intensely romantic moments, culminating in the iconic Unchained Melody, while the magic of special effects accompanies the audience in a crescendo leading to an ethereal and surprising finale. A multisensory experience that demonstrates how true love transcends every barrier, even that between life and death.
