The Environment Festival “Awaiting San Matteo” returns to Feltre, a path of scientific dissemination and environmental awareness promoted by the Municipality of Feltre in collaboration with the National Park of the Belluno Dolomites.
The 2026 edition features three events dedicated to the relationship between humans and the environment, through different languages and perspectives: from theater to scientific communication, to an in-depth look at biodiversity and the role of pollinators.
The aim is to provide citizens with opportunities for knowledge, discussion, and reflection on some of the main environmental challenges of our time, with contributions from experts and communicators of national significance and from qualified local organizations.
The first event is scheduled for Wednesday at the Teatro de la Sena, with the show “Who Killed the Planet?” written by Mario Tozzi, Lorenzo Baglioni, and Michele Baglioni, featuring Mario Tozzi and Lorenzo Baglioni with the narration by Carlo Lucarelli. “The biological cost of the environmental crisis”
Next, at the Teatro de la Sena, the scientist and communicator Antonella Viola will discuss with Nicola Maccagnan on the topic “The biological cost of the environmental crisis.”
The Festival will conclude on Saturday at the Diocesan Museum with the conference “Not Just Bees. Biodiversity and the Importance of Pollinators”, organized by the National Park of the Belluno Dolomites, in collaboration with Unifarco Laboratories.
