Storyteller (rehearsals of…) is the title of the project born on a late spring day. The two artists bring back to prominence that ancient oratory art now forgotten: telling and sharing stories. A journey, a path to be walked together, through four universal times: silence, war, change, freedom. An intimate journey, at times silent, also a bit melancholic, unwoven among selected readings and songs, sung and played with the guitar, with added salt, color, and form.
The show is a journey that traverses four themes: SILENCE, WAR, CHANGE, and FREEDOM, in a path that is at times melancholic and has blues rhythms.
Max Solinas, writer, author, traveler, and reader. He has published: In Silence among the Trees (Ed. Biblioteca dell’Immagine), The Order of the Wolf (Ed. MiMiSol), Vertical Journey (Ed. MiMiSol), The Wolf and the Tightrope Walker (Garzanti Editore), and a new publication is forthcoming. He is the author of three music-theater performances titled: “The Wolves and the Tightrope Walker,” “Storyteller (rehearsals of …),” and “Passengers.” He lives and works in nature in the village of Cison di Valmarino.
Nicola Spina Pilat, guitarist and singer-songwriter from Veneto, already author of the book My Rebirth, accompanies the journey of words and storytelling of Max Solinas with songs and texts that anticipate and ride the four themes of the show. His guitar and singing become an integral and indispensable part of the performance itself.
