Second event of the Giardino Buzzati Festival 20 years
At 6.00 p.m. there will be the opening of the garden of Villa Buzzati to guests.
At 7.00 p.m. the book But what are the Dolomites, a geological interpretation of the writings of Dino Buzzati inspired by Bruno Castiglioni will be presented by and with Danilo Giordano - DBS editions.
Danilo Giordano, born and residing in Feltre, a passionate visitor of the Dolomites, has dealt with the geology of the Province of Belluno.
He has collaborated with ENEA and CNR and the University of Padua for many research projects, and has more than seventy publications of a popular and scientific nature to his credit.
With this book, he takes us on an extraordinary journey through the geology of our mountains starting from a very original idea, the descriptions of these places in the words of Dino Buzzati’s writings, with a connection to Bruno Castiglioni, a great geologist of the past.
