Celebrations for the 80th Anniversary of the Italian Republic

The City of Feltre invites all citizens to celebrate together the Republic Day, on the day that recalls the values of democracy, freedom, and participation that unite our Country. The ceremony will open with the performance of the National Anthem, followed by institutional greetings from city authorities. Following that, the concert by the Banda Città di Feltre, which itself celebrates the prestigious milestone of 170 years since its founding in 2026, will accompany the audience in a moment of celebration and sharing dedicated to the Italian Republic.

As part of the celebrations for the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic, the City of Feltre proposes a moment of deepening dedicated to the history, memory, and birth of our democracy. Prof. Marcello Della Valentina, in collaboration with ISBREC, will hold the conference: “From the CNL to the Constituent Assembly. The paths of M. Pat and O. Vigna" with readings by Silvana Vignaga. An encounter that retraces events, people, and choices that accompanied the transition from the Resistance to the construction of the Republic and the Italian Constitution.
Founded in 1965, ISBREC (Istituto Storico Bellunese della Resistenza e dell’Età Contemporanea) promotes research and dissemination of the history of the Resistance and the contemporary age, preserving an important documentary heritage of the Belluno area.
