From October 2 to 5 and from November 20 to 21, the festival "Being (in) Nature" will take place in different venues. This event is born from the awareness that the human being is nature, constantly immersed in a web of visible and invisible relationships that sustain life, and is also in nature, as it inhabits, traverses, transforms it, and is transformed by it.
By offering spaces for dialogue and reflection that unite science, philosophy, psychology, and spirituality, the conferences and experiential activities planned aim to explore this dual belonging – being nature and being in nature – to
seek balance and imagine a future where humanity does not dominate, but dialogues with the life that surrounds it.
On Thursday, October 2, at the Teatro Da Ponte, there will be a meeting reserved for students on the topic "The Concept of Nature and Biodiversity:
from Greek Philosophers to Environmental Crisis" with Matteo Saudino, professor of philosophy, science communicator and writer, and Valeria Barbi, naturalist and environmental journalist specializing in biodiversity. Author of WANE - We Are Nature Expedition.
Detailed information about the festival can be found on the organization's website.
