On the weekends of November 7-8 and 14-15, it will be possible to immerse oneself in the works of the Museum of Dolomite Masks in Borgo Piave.
Set against the backdrop of the fifteenth-century Palazzo Secco , there is a picturesque collection of Dolomite masks from Comelico Superiore, the Biois Valley, Rocca Pietore, and Cadore. The works realistically depict the most characteristic figures of popular parades: from the Gnaga of Fornesighe to the Rollate of Sappada, and up to the Om Selvarech of Rivamonte Agordino. Alongside the wooden masks, there will be about thirty faces sculpted by various outstanding sculptors from Belluno, related to the theme of the mask and the myths of the territory.
